Community Conserved Areas in Nagaland – Opportunities and Concerns

In collaboration with Nagaland State Forum for Community Conserved Areas (NCCAF) and local partners Kenono Foundation (connected with Sendenyu Community Conserved Area in Tseminyu District of Nagaland) and Lemsachenlok (connected with Yongyimchen Community Conserved Area in Longleng District of Nagaland), we are organising a state level workshop on Community Conserved Areas in Nagaland – Opportunities and Concerns. This will be on the 19th and 20th of June 2024. This also will be culmination of a one year collaborative project that we were involved in with support form The Nature Conservancy (TNC), supporting the self-strengthening processes of the CCAs in five major biodiversity hotspot landscapes of Nagaland; along with strengthening of NCCAF – the federation of these CCAs.
