  1. Worldwide Permaculture Network: A growing interactive database that’s showcasing the solutions-based work being implemented by permaculture projects and practitioners worldwide. (checked on 25 Jun. 2015)
  2. CSE has launched a ‘Green Campus Initiative’, under which a network of higher education institutions and a ‘Forum of Green Campuses’ have been developed and set up. Forum members have committed to reduce their resource footprints and waste generation and have outlined their initiatives and action plans across the themes of land, air, water, energy and waste.
  3. Vanastree – Malnad (Karnataka): Women have formed small seed groups, meet at gatherings, attend training programmes, go on study trips, and feel empowered to be part of a fraternity of like-minded people.   4. Earth Day Network works with over 50,000 partners in 192 countries to broaden, diversify and mobilize the environmental movement. More than 1 billion people now participate in Earth Day activities each year, making it the largest civic observance in the world.   5. Kagad Kach Patra Kashtakari Panchayat KKPKP is a trade union of waste pickers, itinerant waste buyers, waste collectors and other informal recyclers, who recover, collect, categorise and sell scrap materials such as corrugated board, paper, plastics, metals and glass for recycling. They also provide garbage collection, composting and related waste management services. The members are self employed workers. (checked on 31 Dec. 2015)

People’s Climate Network aims to address the planetary crisis through community – activists, artists, scholars, scientists and community representatives – to set the tone and agenda for climate action and policy, for a worldwide grassroots surge towards urgent climate action.
