Vimukt Shiksha Yatra 13.0: Inviting you to be part of co-creating the Learning Revolution!

We are honored to bring forth a learning journey exploring Indo Tibetan Buddhism. In these challenging times of dominating multinational corporations, collapsing neo-liberal economies, and the commodification of everything, it seems vital to explore a different form of relationship and exchange. Sharing our gifts, and the larger culture of abundance, gratitude, kindness, hospitality, forgiveness, provides a welcome oasis of hope from the hackneyed debates around capitalism vs. communism and the paralysis of TINA (There Is No Alternative). We put this intercultural dialogue together to try to share some of the important concepts, beliefs, practices and dreams around an authentic glimpse into vast and profound lineages of Indo Tibetan Buddhism.

A journey to explore the rich and sophisticated traditions of mind and body transformation, preserved by the Tibetans for over 1000 years. Join in as a co-traveler on this journey to meet amazing “Yogis and Panditas” and to be inspired!!!

We welcome you to be part of  ‘Vimukt Shiksha Yatra: 13.0’ an exciting 8- day journey of learning & unlearning, collective dreaming, reclaiming and re-imagining education with Tibetan Buddhism. The yatra is built on experiential pedagogy to give us an authentic introduction through talk, practises, and study visits in some of the most sacred and secret traditional centers of this tradition across the Himalayas.

23rd to 30th June, 2023 In Deer Park Institute, Bir, Himachal Pradesh.

This yatra is hosted by the Vimukt Shiksha in collaboration with the Deer park Institute.

The Shiksha Yatra is envisioned with an intention to inspire ideas, learning and collaborations towards Indo Tibetan Buddhism. The Yatra encompasses visits to multiple experiments working with youth and adult learning across Himachal Pradesh, India.

We particularly invite friends /co-travellers who want to take a deep dive into looking at different spiritual & learning Traditions.

Vimukt Shiksha Yatra is entirely organized in the spirit of gift culture. We feel everyone is a teacher, a co-creator with many gifts to share to help build the larger community. The suggested contribution for this Yatra is based on a sliding scale of ₹28,000 to ₹50,000  inclusive of food, accommodation and travel in Bir. You can contribute whatever you are comfortable with between this from your heart. We would greatly appreciate it if you can give more to sponsor others’ participation.
