Invitation to Apply: Pipal Tree Workshop on interfaith peace-building and climate action
6 February @ 8:00 am – 9 February @ 5:00 pm IST
Dear friend,
Greetings!
Picture a symphony of peace for our beloved India, a melody woven from the rich tapestry of faiths, each note echoing with the compelling natures of climate action now.
Does the prospect of fostering interfaith peacebuilding while nurturing possibilities and pathways for our ecological well-being spark a flame within you? If so, then this invitation is for you.
Pipal Tree, Bengaluru is excited to announce the next orientation/training workshop on interfaith peace-building and climate action. The workshop will be held between the 6th to 9th February 2025 at the tranquil Fireflies Intercultural Centre, Bengaluru. The workshop for a small group of selected participants focuses on interfaith peacebuilding and climate action in order to develop our individual as well as collective capacities for personal transformation and transformative social action.
The conversations in the workshop will primarily be in the English language. We adopt an interactive participatory approach and would love to co-create a workshop space for sharing and learning together. A more detailed agenda and schedule will be shared with all confirmed participants.
Please note that there is no registration cost involved and we are happy to provide onsite accommodation (on double-room sharing basis), meals and refreshments, and need-based travel support (normally, reimbursement of return bus/train fare or partial airfare) to all selected participants.
This is an invitation to be a weaver of change, to bridge divides and nurture understanding and transformations, to be nurturing the fertile grounds where these crucial conversations can flourish. Together, let us birth these presents and futures of peace and environmental stewardship brimming with hope, imagination, and collaboration…
Please apply to participate in the workshop by completing the application form here at the earliest and definitely before 11.59 PM Indian Standard Time on 7th February, 2025. Applications are considered on a rolling basis until all available spots are filled so we encourage you to apply at the earliest. We have highly limited workshop space and aspects that will be considered for the selection of participants include:- awareness of, or experience working with, interfaith peacebuilding and/or climate change;- likelihood of workshop learnings being integrated into ongoing or planned impactful work;- respect for constitutional values and generative dialogue;- relevance to the overall diversity and representativeness of the workshop cohort.
Please note that our mandate for the upcoming workshops is to connect with new participants.
