‘Children Need Nature’ National Conference

We warmly invite you to Children Need Nature Conference, A National conference for educators, students, parents and school administrators, a two-day event on 30th September and 1st October, 2024 to be held at NIMHANS Convention Centre, Bangalore. The conference will have a host of thought leaders and practitioners sharing their perspectives, experiences and philosophies.
With talks by Richard Dunne, (Founder-Director, Harmony Project, UK), Dr. Erach Bharucha (Dir. Bharti Vidyapeeth, a renowned conservationist and author), Seetha Ananthasivan (educationist)., Prof. Sultan Ismail (renowned soil biologist and ecologist), G. Gautama (educationist), Pallavi Varma Patil (ecologist), Indira Vijaysimha (educationist), Yuvan Aves (naturalist) and Harini Nagendra (environmentalist) and Sumitra Gautama (educationist)
Satish Kumar (author and evangelist for sustainable living) and Richard Louv, (author Last Child in the Woods) online.
Action Panels, Discussions, Spirited Talks and Workshops by these and other renowned practitioners will add to the building of perspectives and understanding of the theme. There will also be a musical exploration of Tagore and Nature. The Children’s Expression section will have children sharing their perspective in different ways.
