It emphasizes bird conservation, field study methods, and practical applications like photography and avian health. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of ecological and cultural importance of birds and conservation challenges.

The course is designed at sensitizing the participants through interactive multi-media talks on diverse and interesting subjects like history of ornithology, bird identification, flightless-ness, adaptation for flight, bird flight, migration, breeding, feeding habits, ecological role of birds / birds as bioindicators, habitats, cultural aspects, bird photography, avian diseases, first aid, conservation, field study methods / technology for conservation, and applied ornithological aspects.
