Jan Swasthya Sahyog (JSS), a non government organisation based in Chhattisgarh, provides various training programmes for community health workers; for example training in auxiliary nursing, village health worker’s training, etc. Training programmes offered by JSS are listed on their website.   4. SATHI, a Pune (Maharashtra) based organisation working in the field of health offers several training manuals in English, Hindi as well as Marathi for community health workers. For example, their publication in Marathi- Kavade ugadu ya (Let us open the door), details information on the less talked about women’s health problems like vaginal discharge, urinary and reproductive tract problems, etc. Their two books’ series in Hindi- Swasthya Saathi-Part-1 and 2, is an easy to understand manual with pictures giving scientific information on several health issues to less educated community health workers.   5. Child Growth Monitor by Welt hunger Hilfe is based on a mobile app using augmented reality in combination with artificial intelligence. By determining weight and height through a 3D scan of children, the app can instantly detect malnutrition. (checked on 7 Dec. 2020)
