The Initiative on Waste, Informal workers and Chennai’s Future is a coalition led by Transparent Chennai, MIDS and GAIA working on issues related to solid waste management in Ward 173 for the past year. We have recently completed a detailed mapping and survey exercise on waste generation and composition in the ward. (checked on 25 Jun. 2015)

The People’s Health Movement – PHM is a global network bringing together grassroots health activists, civil society organizations and academic institutions from around the world, particularly from low and middle income countries.
