Shri Raosaheb Dagadkar has been practicing natural farming since 1990. Before that year, he used to employ chemicals and pesticides on his 110 acre farm, but having been badly affected by the sky-rocketing expenditure this involved, he turned to natural farming under the influence of Masanobu Fukuoka’s book ‘The One Straw Revolution’. Since he converted all his farmland to natural farming, he has been able to manage the entire area with the help of only 3 or 4 people. Avoiding most interference in the natural growth, he has improved the quality of soil and gets a good yield for all his crops.
